The city of Austin's environmental initiative seeks to make the Texas capitol much greener within the next few decades. To announce the move, our friends at Sherry Mathews Advocacy Marketing contacted us to create this animated introduction, showing Austinites how they can breathe a little easier in the coming years. Primal Screen did all design, animation, music and sound.
Primal Screen worked with Cartoon Network to create a series of five spots that take place at HumanCon. There, Cartoon Network stars get to rub shoulders with their heroes: bakers, cops, gardeners and a host of other regular folk. Usually the results are disastrous. We shot, animated and composited all spots, right here in our studio.
To celebrate and announce Preacher’s second season, we collaborated with AMC to make this whiplash-fast promo that sets a gaudy salvo of flames, gunshots and tire squeals to the joyful beat of a Go-Go’s tune. We did all animation, design and sound; our friends at AMC provided the pulpy cast illustrations.
Avoiding high blood pressure doesn't have to cause heartbreak. Working with Sherry Matthews marketing and the state of Texas' SNAP program, we created this spot as part of a campaign extension to a series totaling 23 videos. All design, illustration, animation, music and sound design are by Primal Screen.
To supplement our 2014 relaunch package, comprises some 135 distinct pieces, all serving to reinforce the idea that PBS Kids is a fun, educational partner whom parents of young kids can trust. Of course we had a load of fun working on this project, but that wasn't our only reward: PBS Kids was recognized for Best Channel Design and Channel of the Year in 2016.
